Google Apps for Your Business Domain Name

Does your business want to use gmail, or other google hosted web services but don't want the @gmail.com or google.com domain suffix. Well a useful service from google allows you to use your business domain for google hosted services.

For example if you don't want your clients to see that you're using a free email client you can have google switch the domain so that it comes from your business domain name instead. Your users would log in to a Google hosted control panel, which can be customized with your company logo, and all their email would get sent with their custom domain email (instead of user@gmail.com you can change it to user@company.com). Same gmail service with a personalized touch.

It is great if you want to manage a bunch of email, calendar, or web homepages for your employees.
A good alternative for many small businesses that want to look a bit more "professional".

The only drawback from using this service is that these users get feature updates only after it has been rolled out to the standard google app users first. It could be as long as a few months after...
