According to a release from the Wikimedia Foundation, the 10 millionth wikipedia article was created at 5:07 p.m. PDT on Wednesday March 26th. The lucky winner is a post about the Hungarian biography of of 16th century painter Nicholas Hilliard. For those Hungrian natives you can view the post here.

Larry Lessig, a law professor at Stanford hopes that a 'Wikipedia' approach can help change the way politics are played. He wants to use collaborative software to keep track of political positions candidates take and hold them accountable to pledges they make.

Wikipedia administrator Henrik has created a tool at stats.grok.se that shows how many times any particular page has been viewed on Wikipedia. It allows the public to view web stats on how many time a particular page has been viewed or accessed.
